AfterOurs started in 2005 with a simple idea: metro Denver needed somewhere to get real medical care in the evening and on weekends without an emergency room bill. Four clinics and two decades later, that is still the whole point — open until 11 PM, every day of the year.

Owned and run by people who know your name
AfterOurs is independently owned and operated by two families who grew up in small towns — one in Alaska, one in Iowa — where the nearest doctor could be an hour away and everyone knew who was looking after them. We built AfterOurs to bring that kind of care to a big city: clinics where the people making the decisions are here in Denver, not at a corporate headquarters, and where you are a neighbor, not a chart number.
Twenty years on, the owners still run the clinics day to day. When something isn't right, the answer comes from someone who can actually fix it.
Real medical care, not a triage desk
Our team is board-certified family physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants with backgrounds in emergency rooms, family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics. We diagnose and treat unplanned illness and injury on site — stitches, X-rays, rapid tests, physicals, IV fluids — and we will always tell you plainly if what you have needs a hospital instead.
We work with your primary care doctor rather than around them. About a quarter of our patients are sent to us by their own family physician, and we send visit notes back so your care stays in one place.

Self-pay visit prices are published before you're seen, and we'll tell you what your insurance is likely to cover. No guessing, no surprise bill weeks later.

Open when others aren't
Every clinic is open until 11 PM, including weekends and holidays. Book a time online or just walk in — and use telehealth when a follow-up question doesn't need another trip.
- Step 3
Treated here, not sent elsewhere
We handle what you came in for on site — stitches, X-rays, lab tests, IV fluids — instead of bouncing you to another building, and your visit notes go back to your primary care doctor.
