- A painful, swollen lump that may feel soft in the middle
- Redness, warmth and swelling
- Pus or drainage
- Fever or feeling unwell
How we treat it at AfterOurs
Incision and drainage under local anesthesia when there is a pocket of pus, wound packing and follow-up, antibiotics for cellulitis, and a culture when MRSA is a concern.
