How we treat it at AfterOurs

A provider listens to your lungs, checks your vital signs and oxygen level, and may order a chest X-ray. Treatment is usually antibiotics chosen for your allergies and health history, plus rest, fluids and medicine for fever and pain.

When to come in

Come in the same day for cough with fever or shortness of breath. Go to the ER if breathing is hard or getting worse.
