Common symptoms
- Red, itchy or bumpy skin
- Raised welts that come and go (hives)
- Blisters or weeping skin
- A rash that is spreading or painful
How we treat it at AfterOurs
Skin exam to identify the cause, prescription steroid creams or oral medication, antihistamines for hives, antivirals for shingles, and treatment of any secondary skin infection. Many rashes can be evaluated by telehealth with photos.
When to come in
Come in the same day if symptoms are new, getting worse, or you need testing, a prescription or a note for work or school.
